Custom Bike Bag Manufacturer in China | OEM | Ronta
Ronta manufactures custom bicycle frame bags, handlebar bags and saddle bags. OEM/ODM production with durable fabrics, tailored fittings and custom logos.
Materials & Construction
Waterproof shells
TPU-coated 210D–420D nylon with radio-welded seams for panniers, frame bags and bikepacking packs that must keep kit dry in sustained rain.
Everyday shells
600D polyester with a DWR finish for commuting and city bags where weight and pack-down matter more than full submersion.
Bases & abrasion
Heavier 1680D nylon or tarpaulin base panels on panniers and saddle packs that get set down on tarmac, gravel and trail.
Mounting hardware
Rack hooks, Voile-style straps, Fidlock and Klickfix adapters, acetal buckles and custom zipper pullers — specified and held on the sample card.
Lining & foam
210D polyester linings, EPE foam padding for electronics sleeves, and closed-cell foam back panels on cycling backpacks.
Recycled options
RPET shells where a lower-impact line is part of the brief, with material documentation available on request.
What We Specify
Waterproofing left to the fabric
For waterproof bags we use TPU-coated nylon with radio-welded seams, and confirm the seam method on the sample. For lighter builds we add a rain cover and say so in the quote.
Risk if left unspecified: A "water-resistant" fabric with sewn seams. Water runs through the stitch holes in the first hour of rain, and the rider arrives with a wet phone.
Mounting that fits the rack
The mounting system — rack hooks, straps, Fidlock or Klickfix — is chosen for the bike and the load, and the strap positions are confirmed on the sample so the bag stays put.
Risk if left unspecified: A generic hook that fits one rack and rattles on another, or a strap that lets a loaded bag swing into the wheel.
A frame bag that rubs
Frame and handlebar bags are patterned from your bike geometry. We ask for the frame or a dimensioned drawing, and cut the bag to clear cables, bottles and stanchions.
Risk if left unspecified: A one-size triangle bag that fouls the bottle bosses or the suspension, and wears through where it touches the frame.
A reorder that no longer matches
Approved patterns, shade references and hardware samples stay on file. A reorder is cut from those, not from memory, and new colors can be added without redeveloping the bag.
Risk if left unspecified: No material card, so fabric shade, webbing and hardware drift between seasons.
Production Process
Bike and load
Which bike, what the rider carries, and how the bag mounts. We ask for the frame geometry or a reference bike, and flag rack standards, cable routing and airline limits before sampling.
Pre-production sample
A physical sample after materials and mounting are confirmed, built the way the bulk order will be built — not a showroom stand-in.
Fit notes
You check the fit on the bike, the mounting clearance and the logo placement. Approved specs, patterns and material cards stay on file for the reorder.
Bulk
Cutting, welding and sewing in our 3,000 m² Xiamen facility. Lead time depends on quantity and fabric availability, and is confirmed in the quote.
Cartons out
Polybags, hangtags and carton marks to your warehouse spec. FOB Xiamen, CIF or DDP by sea or air, with commercial documents for your broker.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of bike bags do you manufacture as OEM?
We produce rear panniers, handlebar and roll-top bags, frame bags, saddle and seat packs, top-tube bags, cycling backpacks and full bikepacking sets. Every style is built to your custom design, fabric, mounting and branding.
What is the MOQ for a custom bike bag?
MOQ generally starts at 500 pieces per style and colorway. Stock-fabric builds can sometimes start lower. Custom-dyed fabric, dedicated tooling or full bikepacking sets across multiple sizes may need a higher quantity, confirmed in the quotation.
Can you pattern a frame or handlebar bag to a specific bike?
Yes. Frame and handlebar bags are cut to the bike geometry. Send a dimensioned drawing, a reference frame, or the bike itself, and we pattern the bag to clear cables, bottle bosses and suspension without rubbing.
How do you make a bike bag waterproof?
For waterproof bags we use TPU-coated nylon with radio-welded seams, confirmed on the sample. For lighter commuting builds we use a DWR-treated shell with a rain cover. We do not claim a sewn bag is waterproof when it is not.
Which mounting systems can you build in?
Rack hooks, Voile-style straps, Fidlock magnets, Klickfix adapters, velcro loops and custom strap routing. The mount is chosen for the bike, the load and how quickly the rider needs to take the bag on and off.
How long do sampling and bulk production take?
Pre-production samples take 7–12 days after materials are confirmed. Bulk production is typically 35–45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and fabric availability. The confirmed schedule travels with the quotation.
Will a reorder match the first batch?
Approved patterns, material cards and hardware samples stay on file, so a reorder matches the original sample in color, dimension and mounting. New colors can be added without repeating the full development cycle.
Which markets do you ship to?
We export to more than 60 countries, including North America, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, with commercial documents for your broker.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We can sign an NDA before reviewing drawings or samples. Patterns and branding developed for your project are used only for your orders.
Bike Types
Rear pannier bags
Pair-mounted bags that carry the load low over the rear wheel. Hook-and-bungee mounting is matched to the rack standard you specify, and the base is reinforced for set-down on the ground.
Handlebar & roll-top bags
A front bag that keeps a phone, snacks and a layer within reach. Strap placement is set so the bag clears brake and shift cables, and a headtube strap stops it from swinging into the wheel.
Frame bags
A custom-cut triangle bag that uses the empty space inside the frame. We pattern from your frame geometry so the bag fits without rubbing the bottle bosses or the suspension stanchion.
Saddle & seat packs
A roll closure under the saddle for a spare tube, tools and a jacket. The mounting is braced so a loaded pack does not sway into the back of the rider’s legs on rough ground.
Top tube bags
A slim bag along the top tube for food, a phone and a battery. Zipper pull position and strap routing are confirmed on the sample so the bag does not interfere with the rider’s knees when standing.
Cycling backpacks & hydration
A riding pack with a hydration sleeve, a ventilated back panel and a low-profile shape that does not catch wind. Reflective trim and a rain cover are options, not defaults.
Bikepacking packs
A full set — frame, seat and handlebar packs — cut to share the load across the bike. Volume split and mounting are planned together so the bike still handles with a full kit on board.
Customizations
Mounting system
Rack hooks, Voile straps, Fidlock magnets, Klickfix adapters or a simple velcro loop. The mount is chosen for the bike and the riding style, and the load it has to hold.
Volume & fit
Capacity is set by what the rider carries — a tube and a multi-tool, or a tent and four days of food. Frame and handlebar bags are patterned to the bike geometry, not a one-size cut.
Shell & waterproofing
TPU-coated nylon or 600D polyester with welded seams for fully waterproof bags, or DWR-treated fabric with a rain cover for lighter commuting builds. The choice is matched to the climate.
Color & branding
Pantone-matched panels, reflective piping, woven labels, embroidery and screen print. A chest or side panel is reserved for your logo so it sits flat, not over a seam or a zipper.
Hardware
YKK or equivalent zippers, acetal buckles, D-rings, cord locks and custom zipper pullers. Hardware color is held on the sample card so a reorder matches the first batch.
Packing & labels
Individual polybags, hangtags, barcodes and export carton marks to your warehouse spec. Your labels and SKU coding — no factory branding on the finished bag.
Scenes
City commuting
Panniers and top-tube bags built for daily rides to work — a laptop sleeve that does not shift, a waterproof shell, and a mount that clicks on and off a rack in seconds.
Bikepacking & touring
Frame, seat and handlebar packs cut to share the load across the bike, with welded seams and mounting that holds on rough ground over multi-day routes.
Mountain & trail riding
Hydration backpacks with a ventilated back panel, a low-profile shape and a rain cover, built for riders who carry water and a layer, not a full load.
Cargo & delivery
Heavy-base panniers for last-mile delivery and cargo e-bikes, with reinforced mounting and a volume that holds a full order without unbalancing the bike.
