What We Specify
Zippers
We specify zipper brand, gauge and tape color on the sample card — YKK or an equivalent you approve — and keep that reference for reorders.
Risk if left unspecified: Unspecified zippers that bind after a season of gym use, with no tape color held for the next reorder.
Handles & strap anchors
Bar-tacked handle junctions and a webbing loop that spreads the load into the body seam, checked on the line before packing.
Risk if left unspecified: A single stitch at the grab handle. Loaded duffles fail there first.
Stitching at stress points
Denser stitching and heavier thread at handle anchors, zipper ends and strap tabs. Body seams stay neat; stress points stay reinforced.
Risk if left unspecified: One stitch density used everywhere, including zipper ends and D-ring tabs.
Base & fabric choice
Shell weight matched to the job — ripstop for packable travel, 600D for gym and promo, heavier nylon with a tarpaulin or EVA base when the bag is dragged.
Risk if left unspecified: One shell fabric for a weekender and a cargo holdall, so the base scuffs through.
Inspection before the carton closes
Incoming material checks, in-line stitch checks, and a final AQL 2.5 inspection covering dimensions, zippers, handles and packing. Photos can be shared with your buying team.
Risk if left unspecified: A glance at the finished bag, with no record of zipper cycling or dimensions.
Production Process
Use-case review
Volume, carry mode, compartments and market. We flag airline limits, decoration method and anything that will change the pattern before sampling starts.
Pre-production sample
A physical sample after materials are confirmed, built to the construction the bulk order will use — not a showroom stand-in.
Fit and finish notes
You check pocket layout, strap length and branding placement. Approved specs, patterns and material cards stay on file for reorders.
Bulk production
Cutting, assembly and inspection in our 3,000 m² China facility. Lead time depends on order size and fabric availability, and is confirmed in the quote.
Packing and shipment
Polybags, hangtags and carton marks to your warehouse spec. FOB, CIF or DDP by sea or air, with commercial documents for your broker.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for a custom duffle bag?
MOQ generally starts at 500 pieces per style and colorway. Stock-fabric builds can sometimes start lower. Custom-dyed fabric or dedicated tooling may need a higher quantity, confirmed in the quotation.
How long do sampling and bulk production take?
Pre-production samples take 7–12 days after materials are confirmed. Bulk production is typically 35–45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and fabric availability.
Can one duffle combine a shoe pocket, wet divider and wheels?
Yes. Ventilated shoe compartments, wet/dry dividers, trolley sleeves and wheel sets can be combined. We confirm weight, cost and how the features share the volume during sampling.
Do you hold color and hardware for reorders?
Approved specs, patterns, material cards and decoration references stay on file so a reorder can match the original sample. New colors can be added without repeating the full development cycle.
Which markets do you ship to?
We export to more than 60 countries, including North America, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, on FOB, CIF or DDP terms.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We can sign an NDA before reviewing drawings or samples. Patterns and branding developed for your project are used only for your orders.
