Custom gear bag manufacturer Built around the load, not a generic duffel
Ronta builds private-label gear bags for tactical, military, outdoor and field programs. MOLLE layout, compartment architecture and carry are set against the load before the first sample. MOQ from 500 pieces. Sampling in 7–12 days. One 3,000 m² facility in Xiamen, in production since 2011.
What gets left off the spec, and what we write down
These are construction choices we lock on the sample card. They are not lab certificates. If your program needs third-party testing, we can arrange it — we do not invent pass results.
MOLLE that holds
Loose webbing stitched in a single line that pulls out under a loaded pouch, dropping gear in the field.
A base that survives the field
A thin polyester base that soaks through and wears through where the bag is set down on dirt and rock.
Straps that take a loaded bag
A single stitch at the grab handle. That is where a loaded gear bag fails first.
A reorder that no longer matches
No material card, so color, webbing and hardware drift between batches.
Gear bag types, built around the load
Each style can be reworked with your fabric, colorway and MOLLE layout. Carry is matched to how the gear moves.

Six decisions that make the bag yours
A gear bag is defined by how it carries the load, how it modularly attaches and how it survives the field. Leaving any of those open is how a sample arrives that does not fit the mission.
MOLLE & modularity
MOLLE webbing spacing, junction bar-tacks and modular pouch positions are confirmed on the sample so attachments sit and stay put under load.
Carry system
Grab handles, padded shoulder strap, backpack straps, or a telescoping handle and wheels. The carry is chosen for how far the gear moves in the field.
Shell & base
500D to 1000D nylon or 1680D polyester with a tarpaulin or molded EVA base that survives dirt, rock and vehicle stowage.
Color & branding
Olive, coyote, black, multicam and custom colorways, with woven labels, embroidery, rubber patches and name-tape panels.
Hardware
YKK or equivalent zippers with lockable pulls, metal D-rings, fastex buckles and custom zipper pullers. Hardware color is held on the sample card.
Packing & labels
Individual polybags, hangtags, barcodes and export carton marks to your warehouse spec. Your labels and SKU coding — no factory branding on the finished bag.
Shells and hardware matched to the field
These are construction choices, not lab certificates. If your program needs third-party testing, we can arrange it.
Tactical shells
500D and 1000D nylon in olive, coyote and black for gear bags that need abrasion resistance without excess weight.
Heavy shells
1680D ballistic polyester for wheeled gear bags and duffels that take daily abrasion and a loaded kit.
Bases & abrasion
Tarpaulin or molded EVA bases on every bag that sits on dirt or rock, so the bottom does not soak through or wear through.
MOLLE & webbing
MIL-spec webbing bar-tacked at each junction, with spacing confirmed on the sample so modular pouches sit and stay put.
Hardware
YKK or equivalent zippers with lockable pulls, metal D-rings, fastex buckles and custom zipper pullers held on the sample card.
Recycled options
RPET polyester where a lower-impact line is part of the brief, with material documentation available on request.
Four programs, four different loads
A tactical sling and a wheeled deployment bag share a sewing line, but not a spec. We build each around the load it has to carry.
Military & deployment
Duffels and deployment bags that carry a full kit to the field, with a base that survives transport and a name-tape panel for issue.
Tactical & field
Tactical backpacks with MOLLE layout and side pockets, built for operators who carry a modular load and need pouches to stay put.
Outdoor & adventure
Field gear bags with reinforced bases and tan accents for outdoor programs that set the bag down on dirt and rock.
Utility & work
Utility gear bags with multiple compartments for work programs that carry tools, hardware and a change of clothes to the site.
A gear bag program with dates you can plan around
Ranges below are what we quote. Peak season and custom-dyed fabric can move them — the confirmed schedule is in the quotation.
Load & use case
Which gear goes in the bag, the use case, and how it is carried. We flag MOLLE, base and carry before sampling starts.
Pre-production sample
A physical sample after materials and MOLLE layout are confirmed, built the way the bulk order will be built.
Fit & load check
You load the sample with the real gear, check the MOLLE hold, the carry under load and the logo placement. Approved specs stay on file.
Bulk
Cutting, sewing and inspection in our 3,000 m² Xiamen facility. Lead time depends on quantity and fabric availability.
Cartons out
Polybags, hangtags and carton marks to your warehouse spec. FOB Xiamen, CIF or DDP by sea or air, with commercial documents for your broker.
Questions buyers ask before a gear bag order
Practical answers on MOQ, sampling, MOLLE and materials — the details that decide whether a gear bag fits the load.
We produce tactical gear bags, military duffels, deployment bags, tactical backpacks, gear rolls, accessory pouches, field gear bags, padded equipment cases, wheeled gear bags, tactical slings, utility bags, and heavy-duty cargo bags. Every style is built to your custom load, colorway and branding.
MOQ generally starts at 500 pieces per style and colorway. Stock-fabric builds can sometimes start lower. Custom-dyed fabric or dedicated tooling may need a higher quantity, confirmed in the quotation.
Yes. MOLLE spacing and junction bar-tacks are confirmed on the sample so modular pouches sit and stay put under load. Send your layout or a reference and we pattern to it.
500D and 1000D nylon in olive, coyote and black, plus 1680D ballistic polyester. Multicam and custom-dyed colorways are available, with the quantity confirmed in the quote.
Pre-production samples take 7–12 days after materials are confirmed. Bulk production is typically 35–45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and fabric availability. The confirmed schedule travels with the quotation.
Approved patterns, material cards and hardware samples stay on file, so a reorder matches the original sample in color, dimension and MOLLE layout. New colors can be added without repeating the full development cycle.
We export to more than 60 countries, including North America, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, with commercial documents for your broker.
Yes. We can sign an NDA before reviewing drawings or samples. Patterns and branding developed for your project are used only for your orders.
