Custom yoga mat bag manufacturer Built around the mat, not a generic strap
Ronta builds private-label yoga mat bags for studios, brands and retail programs. Mat diameter, closure and carry are set against the actual mat before the first sample. MOQ from 500 pieces. Sampling in 7–12 days. One 3,000 m² facility in Xiamen, in production since 2011.
What gets left off the spec, and what we write down
These are construction choices we lock on the sample card. They are not lab certificates. If your program needs third-party testing, we can arrange it — we do not invent pass results.
A fit that matches the mat
A generic sleeve sized by guess. A thick 6mm mat does not fit, or a thin travel mat sits loose and the bag sags.
A strap that does not dig
A narrow webbing strap that digs into the shoulder on the walk to the studio.
A pocket that holds the extras
One open cavity. A water bottle, keys and a block share the mat space and rattle around.
A reorder that no longer matches
No material card, so fabric shade, webbing and hardware drift between batches.

Six decisions that make the bag yours
A yoga mat bag is defined by how it holds the mat, how it carries and what else it holds. Leaving any of those open is how a sample arrives that does not fit the mat.
Mat fit & closure
Bag diameter and length are set by the mat — 4mm, 6mm or 8mm, standard or travel. Closure is a drawstring, buckle, or zip, chosen for how snug the mat sits.
Carry system
Adjustable shoulder strap, sling, backpack straps, or a tote handle. The carry is chosen for how far the student walks with the mat.
Shell & feel
Cotton canvas, linen-look polyester, or 600D polyester for a softer or more durable hand. Cork and RPET options are available for natural and recycled lines.
Color & branding
Pantone-matched colorways, woven labels, embroidery, screen print and heat transfer. A flat panel is reserved for your studio or brand logo.
Hardware
Adjustable sliders, buckles, D-rings and custom zipper pullers in metal or acetal. Hardware finish is held on the sample card.
Packing & labels
Individual polybags, hangtags, barcodes and export carton marks to your warehouse spec. Your labels and SKU coding — no factory branding on the finished bag.
Shells and hardware matched to the studio
These are construction choices, not lab certificates. If your program needs third-party testing, we can arrange it.
Natural shells
Cotton canvas and linen-look polyester for a soft, natural hand suited to studio and wellness brands.
Everyday shells
600D polyester for durable carry bags and backpacks that are handled daily and tossed in a car or locker.
Eco options
Cork panels and RPET polyester where a natural or recycled line is part of the brief, with material documentation available on request.
Lining & pockets
210D polyester linings, mesh bottle pockets, zip key pockets and block pockets planned as separate volumes.
Hardware
Adjustable sliders, acetal buckles, metal D-rings and custom zipper pullers held on the sample card.
Straps
Webbing straps with padding chosen for carry distance, bar-tacked at the attachment so a loaded mat does not swing.
Four programs, four different mats
A studio sling and a travel foldable share a sewing line, but not a spec. We build each around the mat and the student.
Studio & daily practice
Slings and carry bags for students who walk to class — a snug mat fit, a padded strap, and a pocket for keys and a bottle.
Commute & travel
Backpacks and foldable bags that carry a mat plus a change of clothes, with a side pocket for a bottle on the commute.
Wellness & retail
Cotton totes and natural-finish bags for wellness brands and retail, with a soft hand and a clean logo panel.
Teacher & retreat
Bags with a block pocket and extra storage for teachers and retreats who carry more than a mat to the session.
A yoga mat bag program with dates you can plan around
Ranges below are what we quote. Peak season and custom-dyed fabric can move them — the confirmed schedule is in the quotation.
Mat & use case
Which mat thickness and length, where it is carried, and what else goes in the bag. We flag fit, closure and pocket plan before sampling starts.
Pre-production sample
A physical sample after materials and pocket layout are confirmed, built the way the bulk order will be built.
Fit & carry check
You roll the real mat into the sample, check the fit, the strap comfort and the logo placement. Approved specs stay on file.
Bulk
Cutting, sewing and inspection in our 3,000 m² Xiamen facility. Lead time depends on quantity and fabric availability.
Cartons out
Polybags, hangtags and carton marks to your warehouse spec. FOB Xiamen, CIF or DDP by sea or air, with commercial documents for your broker.
Questions buyers ask before a yoga mat bag order
Practical answers on MOQ, sampling, mat fit and materials — the details that decide whether a yoga mat bag fits the mat.
We produce mat carry bags, slings, backpacks, duffels, drawstring bags, cotton totes, cork roll bags, foldable travel bags, storage bags, and bags with block pockets. Every style is built to your custom mat spec, fabric and branding.
MOQ generally starts at 500 pieces per style and colorway. Stock-fabric builds can sometimes start lower. Custom-dyed fabric or cork panels may need a higher quantity, confirmed in the quotation.
Yes. Tell us the mat thickness (4mm, 6mm, 8mm) and length, and we size the bag diameter, length and closure so the rolled mat sits snug.
Yes. Cotton canvas, cork panels and RPET polyester are available for natural and recycled lines, with material documentation available on request.
Pre-production samples take 7–12 days after materials are confirmed. Bulk production is typically 35–45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and fabric availability. The confirmed schedule travels with the quotation.
Approved patterns, material cards and hardware samples stay on file, so a reorder matches the original sample in color, dimension and fit. New colors can be added without repeating the full development cycle.
